How It Started
Metro Liquor Plaza opened its doors in Detroit in 2011 with a simple idea: bring a truly world-class selection of spirits, wine, and beer to Metro Detroit — without the big-box price tag or the cold warehouse feel.
What started as a single store on Schaefer Highway quickly earned a reputation for knowing its product. Our staff aren't just clerks — they're enthusiasts who can walk you through a single-malt Scotch flight, recommend a natural wine for a dinner party, or point you to the coldest six-pack in the cooler.
When the Inkster location opened on Cherry Hill Road, it brought the same philosophy to a new neighborhood: deep inventory, honest prices, and people who actually care about what they sell.
